Carving Pumpkins!!
Okay, so somehow this year Mom lucked out, and Dad got to be the one to man the pumpkin carving festivities (He's cleaning up as we speak) This was the first year that Makayla and Olivia carved their pumpkins completely by themselves! They were pretty proud! Even though it gets pretty messy, I love how excited the girls are every year...even when Mommy is really pooped at the end of a long sunday!

GO PV VIKINGS!!!
We all went to Chico this weekend to watch Spencer and Shaun play in the Almond Bowl. Little did we know what a major city event this would be...after all, it's only high school football right? WRONG!! The game was held at the Chico State Stadium, and was totally packed out! The night was complete with, school colors (blue & white), pom poms for all the fans (about10,000), sparkly beads in blue and silver, cheerleaders, pizza, snacks, stadium blankets, horse voices, body painted fans, half time shows, and more fun than we've had on a friday night in a long time. As you can see the girls had so much fun with their cousins! It was a great night for the history books...and oh....Vikings won 12 to13 !!!!

A Visit from Cousins
Movie Night at School
Well, for our first movie night of the year, we went to see "Freaky Friday" on the big screen at school. The girls and their friends all went in pajamas and sweatshirts, complete with blankets and sleeping bags. They had a blast even though it was near freezing temperatures....well maybe not that cold!
